When it comes to alcohol and drugs, we do as much as we can for as long as we can.
The insidious nature of our disease is that there are times when we convince ourselves that we can handle it. “This time it will be different”.
It always turns out tragic. It always turns out sad. Some of us never draw a sober breath again.
My life is nothing without my recovery. Leaning on God is the answer for me.
