Some people go through their lives always knowing what they want. Then they work to get it.
I start with knowing what I don’t want – to live my days suffering with drug or alcohol addiction until I die an ugly death.
I have to work at not getting that because it is the most important thing in my life.
Everything else that comes my way is the result of living sober.
