My pain could not be seen or heard by anyone but me.
My healing happens in silence, in private, and at my own pace.
Just because I am getting better, I cannot assume the same for anyone else.
Everyone is doing the best they can while they quietly carry their own burdens. I need to be sensitive to that and maybe be a little more gentle with the world.
