Merry Christmas!
Today is a day traditionally known for giving and receiving gifts. It’s an annual day of joy for many, and a magical day, long-anticipated by children.
It seems that many people try to find the “perfect gift” for those they care about.
Not everyone is happy on Christmas. I wish it wasn’t true. For those who are suffering, today is one of the worst days of the year.
I have been there. I am no longer there but I know some who are. They are in my prayers.
I cannot remove the pain from those who are suffering. Only God can do that.
The best present I can offer today is to be present, and bring kindness and compassion.
I pray that God brings Joy to everyone.
I pray that God brings His Comfort to the sick, the hungry, the lonely, the desperate, and the grieving.
Please know that I pray for you today.
God, please help me to be ok today. Thank You. Amen.
